Welcome Bri to Dynamic Counseling: Expanding Trauma Therapy, EMDR, and Couples Counseling in Colorado Springs

At Dynamic Counseling, our mission has always been to provide exceptional, evidence-based mental health care while helping people build healthier relationships with themselves and those they love. As our Colorado Springs community continues to grow, so does the need for compassionate, highly trained therapists who can walk alongside clients through life's most difficult seasons.

We're excited to welcome Brianna Arnold, Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC), to our team!

Bri's addition allows us to expand our in person counseling services for trauma therapy, EMDR, couples counseling, family therapy, and individual counseling in Colorado Springs, helping more clients receive timely, personalized care.

A Therapist Who Believes Healing Happens Through Connection

One of the things that immediately stands out about Bri is her ability to create a calm, welcoming environment where clients feel safe enough to be themselves.

She believes meaningful healing occurs through authentic relationships. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, or a difficult life transition, Bri works collaboratively with clients to help them feel understood rather than judged.

Her work is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and systemic approach, recognizing that our relationships, family experiences, and life events shape how we think, feel, and interact with the world around us.

Rather than simply addressing symptoms, Bri helps clients understand the deeper patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress while building practical tools for lasting change.

Expanding In Person EMDR Therapy in Colorado Springs

We're especially excited that Bri brings additional capacity for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

EMDR is one of the most researched and effective treatments available for trauma. While many people associate EMDR with PTSD, it can also help individuals experiencing:

• Childhood trauma

• Anxiety

• Panic attacks

• Negative self beliefs

• Grief and loss

• Relationship trauma

• Distressing life experiences

• Performance anxiety

• Medical trauma

• First responder and military trauma

EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Instead of feeling stuck in the past, clients often experience greater emotional freedom, confidence, and resilience.

With Bri joining our team, Dynamic Counseling is expanding access to in person EMDR therapy in Colorado Springs, allowing more individuals to receive specialized trauma treatment without long wait times.

Helping Couples Reconnect Through EFT and Gottman Therapy

Healthy relationships don't happen by accident.

Many couples come to counseling feeling trapped in the same arguments, disconnected emotionally, or unsure how to rebuild trust after painful experiences.

Bri integrates two of the most respected, research-supported approaches to couples counseling:

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT helps couples identify the negative cycles that keep them disconnected and teaches partners how to respond to each other with greater vulnerability, safety, and emotional security.

Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, EFT helps couples understand the deeper attachment needs underneath conflict, creating stronger emotional bonds.

The Gottman Method

The Gottman Method provides practical, research-based tools that couples can begin using immediately.

Couples learn how to:

• Improve communication

• Manage conflict more effectively

• Repair arguments before they escalate

• Build trust

• Increase friendship and intimacy

• Strengthen emotional connection

Whether you're preparing for marriage, navigating parenting stress, healing after betrayal, or simply wanting a stronger relationship, Bri provides a supportive space where both partners can feel heard and understood.

Supporting Stronger Families

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate, Bri naturally views challenges through a family systems lens.

She understands that when one person is struggling, the entire family often feels the impact.

Using systemic and attachment-based approaches, she helps families:

• Improve communication

• Reduce conflict

• Strengthen parent child relationships

• Navigate life transitions

• Build healthier family dynamics

• Foster deeper connection and understanding

Her goal is to help every family member feel valued while creating healthier patterns that last well beyond the therapy room.

Individual Counseling for Anxiety, Depression, and Life Transitions

In addition to trauma and relationship work, Bri enjoys helping individuals who are experiencing:

• Anxiety

• Depression

• Stress and burnout

• Life transitions

• Low self esteem

• Relationship challenges

• Family conflict

• Emotional overwhelm

She tailors therapy to each client's unique needs while integrating evidence-based approaches that promote insight, resilience, emotional regulation, and lasting personal growth.

Growing to Meet the Needs of Colorado Springs

At Dynamic Counseling, we know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. That's why we're committed to expanding our team with therapists who combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion.
