Dynamic Counseling (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides counseling services and optional SMS/text message communications to clients and individuals who have chosen to opt in. This SMS Privacy Policy and Terms of Service explains how we collect, use, protect, and manage your information when you opt in to receive text messages from us.

By opting in to text messages from Dynamic Counseling, you agree to the terms outlined below.

When you opt in to receive text messages from Dynamic Counseling, we may collect:

  • Your mobile phone number

  • Your name (if included in your form submission)

  • Consent status (opt-in, opt-out, HELP requests)

  • Message logs (time/date of messages sent and received)

  • Any information you voluntarily submit when completing a form

Because Dynamic Counseling is a mental health provider, we may also collect general service-related information that you opt to share (e.g., appointment scheduling), but we do not collect clinical or therapeutic content through SMS.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to send:

  • Scheduling updates

  • Customer care messages

  • Service-related communications you have requested

We do not use SMS for marketing, promotional messages, or third-party advertising.

We do not use SMS for therapeutic interventions, crisis counseling, or clinical discussion.

Dynamic Counseling does not sell, rent, or share your personal information, phone number, or SMS consent data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may share information only when legally required, such as in response to a court order or as required by HIPAA-related obligations.

We do not share SMS message logs with any third party except our SMS service provider (Grasshopper/10DLC) solely for the purpose of delivering messages.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
However, SMS messages are not a fully secure form of communication. Please avoid sending sensitive health information, PHI, or emergency-related content via text.

9. No Emergency Communication

SMS messages from Dynamic Counseling are not monitored 24/7 and should not be used for emergencies or crisis situations.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update these terms as needed to comply with legal, carrier, or business requirements.
Updates will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date revised accordingly.
