Leslie is a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate and a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. Her perspective is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and with a strong belief that we all have an innate capacity for growth and healing. She loves working with teens, families, couples, and young adults. Leslie strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and feel valued. In session, Leslie is easy to talk to, has a great sense of humor, and can be direct and challenging so that you feel empowered to make positive changes.

Leslie believes in tailoring her therapeutic approach to fit her client’s needs drawing from various modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Based Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and more. Leslie is happy to integrate client’s faith on request. She will work collaboratively with you to help identify and address your current concerns by building strengths and resources and supporting greater awareness, expressiveness, connection, and skill development to foster healing and growth in navigating life’s challenges.

Leslie is passionate about helping adolescents who struggle with their self-esteem, self-worth, body image, anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, interpersonal trauma, relationship issues with family and friends, and those who want to openly explore their future self.

 

She also helps families cope with loss, navigate new marriages and divorces while strengthening parental skills, improving communication, and creating safe alliances among all members.

About Leslie

Leslie has been married for 19 years and is a mom of 2 teens and 1 young adult. She knows firsthand the challenges of marriage as well as parenting adolescents in today’s world. In her spare time, Leslie loves going on adventure dates with her husband and going on Mom-teen dates with her children. She loves to stay up late while listening to her favorite crime podcasts and getting lost in Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu shows -- feel free to share your favorite shows or movies with her!
