Jessica Hausmann

Counselor in Colorado Springs

MA, LPCC, Colorado

If you're feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in conflict, or caught in patterns that no longer feel safe, you are not alone. These patterns don't define you; they simply point to what needs healing. Whether you're navigating people-pleasing, low self-worth, trauma, or life transitions, you may notice your body feels tense, guarded, or overwhelmed.

I work with teens and adults who are longing to feel calmer in their bodies, safer in their relationships, and more connected to themselves again. You deserve that peace.

Philosophy

I provide trauma-informed, somatic therapy rooted in a holistic mind-body approach, recognizing that true healing requires addressing both our psychological patterns and our physical nervous systems. My work integrates attachment-based therapy, CBT, EMDR, IFS-informed perspectives, and somatic approaches to bridge the gap between mind and body, supporting emotional regulation, reducing physiological stress, and addressing relational patterns with care and stability.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the author of your own experience. I serve as a secure base, offering a steady and compassionate presence from which you can safely explore your inner world and allow your natural healing process to unfold. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or major life changes, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and goals. We move at your pace, weaving in mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and somatic techniques to help you find ease and stability. Together, we will work holistically to slowly soften survival patterns held in the body, build understanding around your emotional responses, and release what has been keeping you stuck. By honoring the connection between your thoughts and your physical sensations, we create more ease, safety, and connection in your life. There is no rush; we will gently work through what's stuck so you can step forward with clarity, joy, and a renewed sense of self.
