Professional Counselor in Colorado Springs

LPCC, Colorado

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen, understood, and accepted. Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, or difficult life transitions leave you feeling disconnected from yourself or uncertain about where to turn. You do not have to carry those burdens alone. Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin moving toward healing with support, compassion, and hope.

I work with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and challenges with identity or self-worth. Many of the individuals I work with feel stuck in patterns that once helped them survive but are now preventing them from living the life they truly want. Together, we work to better understand those patterns, identify the underlying emotions and beliefs that fuel them, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique experiences and goals. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other evidence based therapeutic approaches to help clients build practical coping skills while also fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting personal growth. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I believe therapy should honor your story, your strengths, and the pace that feels right for you.

In our work together, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to explore difficult emotions, gain insight into recurring patterns, strengthen emotional resilience, and cultivate healthier relationships with yourself and others. Whether we are learning skills to manage overwhelming emotions, processing painful experiences, or discovering new ways of responding to life's challenges, my goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped long after our sessions end.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is not about becoming someone different. It is about reconnecting with the person you have always been beneath the pain, fear, shame, or self-doubt. I strive to help clients recognize their inherent strengths, develop greater self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
