Experts in Mental Health Treatment

Accurate Diagnosis. Real Treatment.
In a world of self-diagnosis, our Colorado Springs therapist team includes licensed professionals with advanced training in evidence-based approaches to mental health. We specialize in accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment, offering modalities such as EMDR for trauma, DBT for emotional regulation, EFT for relationship issues, CBT for anxiety and depression, and IFS to explore your inner system and promote healing.
Get to Know Us
At Dynamic Counseling, we know healing happens when we pursue goodness, beauty, and truth. Our therapy practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful, lasting change comes from connecting deeply—with ourselves, with others, and with the values that shape our lives. True healing doesn’t come from quick fixes or surface-level solutions—it comes from intentional work, reflection, and compassionate support.
We offer compassionate, research-based counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, our Colorado counselors are here to help you uncover clarity, build resilience, and move forward with purpose. No matter where you are on your journey, we are here to meet you with empathy, understanding, and professional expertise.
Evidence-Based Counseling, Human-Centered Care
We integrate proven therapeutic approaches—including CBT, EMDR, IFS, DBT, art therapy, play therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and even canine-assisted interventions—tailored to your unique needs. Our approach is both scientifically informed and deeply personal. We honor your individuality and recognize that no two healing paths are alike. With every session, we walk alongside you with curiosity, kindness, and a commitment to value your lived experience. You are not just a diagnosis—you are a whole person deserving of care that reflects your story and goals.
Online therapy
Virtual therapy, also known as telehealth therapy or online psychotherapy, can be just as effective as in-person counseling for many individuals and concerns. Research shows that virtual sessions provide the same level of therapeutic connection, insight, and progress—especially when working with a licensed and experienced therapist. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges, teletherapy offers the flexibility and convenience to access support from the comfort of your own space. For those with busy schedules, transportation barriers, or a preference for privacy, online psychotherapy makes high-quality mental health care more accessible than ever. Learn more here.

Q&A
Does my insurance cover therapy?
Everyone’s insurance plan is different, so coverage can vary. The best way to know is to check your mental health benefits through your insurance member portal or by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. Generally, Medicaid plans do cover mental health services, but for other insurance providers, coverage may depend on your specific plan, deductible, or in-network providers.
Do you provide 15 minute consultations?
It depends on the provider. Some of our therapists offer free 15-minute consultations to help you determine if they’re a good fit, while others prefer to schedule a full intake session. Please check with the specific therapist you’re interested in to learn more about their process.
Does my insurance cover couples therapy?
It depends. Check out this blog for more information.
Can the same provider do individual and couples therapy?
Sometimes, but it depends on the situation and the provider’s approach. Some therapists will see a client for both individual and couples therapy, while others recommend having separate providers to avoid conflicts of interest and to ensure both partners feel equally supported. If this is something you’re interested in, it’s best to talk directly with your therapist about their policy and what will be most helpful for your relationship.
Can I request a provider with certain religious or political views?
Yes. We want you to feel comfortable and supported in therapy. You are welcome to request a provider whose religious background, spiritual beliefs, or political views align with what feels important for your care. We also work to have a variety of providers on our team so clients can find a good fit, and all of our team members are trained in multi-cultural therapy to compassionately support individuals with a wide variety of cultural values and experiences. To learn more, we’ve written a blog about this here.
